We are a small group of young, creative professionals seeking a true RoR code ninja who loves designing and architecting from scratch. We have a static website in place, but need to transform it into a dynamic platform with clean, powerful functionalities including social networking, user-generated content, e-commerce, people matching, video streaming, and other applications the web hasn't seen yet.

We are looking to propel our company forward with like-minded entrepreneurs.

Candidate must be able to:

• Work collaboratively with administrative and design team to design, develop, and deploy web applications
• Communicate effectively with nonengineers
• Analyze problems and identify alternative solutions
• Be flexible
• Be detail-oriented and conscientious

Education/Experience:

• BS in computer science or related degree from accredited college or university
• 3-5 years working with Ruby
• 1-2 years working with Ruby on Rails
• MySQL experience a must
• Experience developing social network-specific applications
• Experience scaling
