New Israeli business teaches about health and wellbeing through the use of Raw/Living Foods.  Israel Gone Raw, formed by Oleh Hadasha, Chana Rachel Mark, (Anne), originally from the U.S. provides instruction in health and well-being through the use of Living/Raw Food.  That is, food that has not been heated above the temperature of 118 F or about 56 C. As a proponent of nutrition and natural, organic foods, Chana Rachel teaches her clientele about the benefits of "eating without heating," which range from weight loss to lowering blood pressure and cholesterol and feeling more energized and mentally alert.  Her classes  teach about making juices, smoothies, sprouting, grainless pasta making, and how to build salads.  Besides educating people about eating more healthfully, Chana Rachel runs a take out food business.  Her menu ranges from juices and smoothies to crackers and breads without the use of grains to decadent desserts without the use of meat, dairy, eggs.  All of her food is completely pareve and Kosher.  Chana Rachel also gives consultations and is available as a personal chef.  She is Living/Raw Foods Chef trained at the Living Light Culinary Institute in Ft. Bragg, California and the Ekaya Institute of Living Nutrition.  She provides guidance in the Living Foods lifestyle for healing, health maintenance and weight control.
